I found out about Fabletics by seeing one of my friend's posts on her mesh Gaviota crops and I died. I've been somewhat obsessed with mesh at the moment and the Gaviota reminded me of the Lululemon tech mesh leggings. I missed my window of opportunity to buy the Tech Mesh leggings from Lululemon so you can imagine my excitement for the Gaviota from Fabletics.
I purchased my first outfit from Fabletics which included a top, a sports bra, and these awesome crops for $60 bucks! I may have just won the day!
I am one who purchases tech activewear vs just for looks. Since my workouts involve a lot movement, plyo, and getting sweaty I rely on workout clothes that have great wicking abilities. I wore my Gaviota crops to Imago Fitness studio today to see if I can put them through a performance test.
My thoughts: the material isn't quite like Luon, but it hugs, it's breathable, and holds it's shape which is huge. I'm not a fan of leggings that begin to loosen up in the knee area and since it's a pet peeve of mine, I want to make sure any leggings I buy do not do that in or out of the gym. Today's workout involved a lot of progress body movement, jumping pull ups, sprints, step ups, and lifting weights and the Gaviota crops help up to my own personal standards. Like most moms, I am a busy woman. You will find me coming out of the gym, jumping into my car, and running errands. It's important to me that my clothing has excellent wicking capabilities. No one wants to walk around feeling sweaty while picking up produce. Surprisingly, these held up to that! Now the final test is how will it hold up in the wash and color fading. We'll just have to see.
Will I be ordering some more from Fabletics, yup! As a matter of fact, I have several items in my cart just waiting for me to submit.
