Create + Cultivate Recap

Last weekend my fellow gal pal Grace from My Style and Grace, make sure to check out her killer style  blog and give her some support on her newly launched endeavor as a style blogger. Grace won tickets to Create + Cultivate, a gathering of creatives and entrepreneurs focused on the world of beauty and fashion.

I love events like this as I get to grow and expand my knowledge on my own adventures as a fitness blogger and get some ideas on content and how to grow my blog. It's also really empowering and inspiring to be around women who uplift one another and support in each other's ventures. Healthy competition is great thing. We should use it as inspiration to stand along side them, not against them.

I had the chance to meet a new friend and blogger Chelsea Briche who runs a blogged called the Millennial Miss.

Then the following day before we head back home we decided to head over to Venice Beach area and ventured on Abbot Kinney, a street filled with the cutest shops and four wondeful coffee shops. One of my favorite Itelligentsia has a home on this street. If you're a coffee lover, its a must to enjoy an almond milk latte, great music, and people watching.

I was super stoked to finally find The Piece Collective. I've seen this store pinned all over Pinterest and have always dreamed to see it. It reminds me of the General Store located in SF and I loved all the minimalistic clothing and accessories found in it.

And I completely fell in love with everything at Aviator Nation, a store completely dedicated to the world of vintage shirts and surf culture. The back of the store has this amazing little hangout spot where people can come hang out, chill, and have some jam sessions on the stage.

I’m a mother of two beautiful daughters and married to a man who completes me. I started my fitness journey as a way to heal my soul and launched my blog in hopes to continue to inspire and empower women to use fitness as a tool to heal depression and find their self worth. I strongly believe that each woman deserves to be in love with herself just as much as her man does. I have an obsession with reusable water bottles, I enjoy action movies, and I’m in love with burpees.
