Stronger Everyday

A few months back Muscle Milk reached out to me, they wanted to share my story. They wanted to share all the bits and pieces of what makes my journey so special to me. I always tell people this:

Fitness is not about the perfect body. It's about getting your life together.

At the end of the day you have to go to bed feeling satisfied and fulfilled with the live you have and wake up with clarity in order to face the world ahead.

I was so hesitant about my involvement with this video in the beginning. I think I was mostly nervous about how authentic the editing and the end product would look like. You all know your girl Jo, she's transparent and honest about both the accomplishments and struggles. I'm so happy with how it turned out. I'm beyond thrilled that it was spot on to how I live my every day life.

Whenever you see a successful person, you only see the public glories, never the private sacrifices to reach them.

Here's a few behind the scenes of what two days of filming looked like.

I know that in a lot of ways you've followed me to gain a little hope, motivation, inspiration, and empowerment for your own #fitnessjourney, but I have to be honest with you. As much as you thought you needed my words of encouragement, I truly needed yours!

We live in our world that allows us to share our stories with people all over the planet and I feel so honored that each of you have taken time to hear mine. I believe that each person can make an impact on another person's life for the better. If each of us can plant that seed of hope within on another than we can all begin to lead a healthy and creative life.

I want to hear your stories. Share. Connect. Inspire. This is truly one way we can shape our current and future generation of women to believe that they are worth it, that they are strong enough to face their fears, brave enough to live out of their comfort zone, and that they are so worthy of love and a whole hearted life.

I’m a mother of two beautiful daughters and married to a man who completes me. I started my fitness journey as a way to heal my soul and launched my blog in hopes to continue to inspire and empower women to use fitness as a tool to heal depression and find their self worth. I strongly believe that each woman deserves to be in love with herself just as much as her man does. I have an obsession with reusable water bottles, I enjoy action movies, and I’m in love with burpees.
