How to Manifest Success with Brooks Running

Success is a tough one and although I don’t have it all figured out. I was sponsored by Zappos to share a few things I learned about manifesting success, but as always my thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

We all want to strive to live a successful life. But what does success really look like? What does it mean to be successful? Success looks different on everyone, but when you break down what makes a person so successful at hitting their target goals there is one thing in common: they do something they don't want to do.

This doesn't mean that they are in soul sucking jobs they hate or stay in relationships that are toxic. Doing the thing they don't like to do means that their goals are so important to them that the work becomes irrelevant. Each and every one of us will be faced with a challenge or task in life that we don't want to do. This could mean getting up at 4:30am to be at the gym by 5am before your work day, giving up fried foods, tackling monthly accounting, paying off bills to get out of debt, and the list goes on. But at the end of the day in order to get closer to your goals, personal or career; you have to do something you don't want to do. Ask yourself: are your goals bigger than your distractions? What are you willing to sacrifice to get your closer to being the person you want to be?

3 Ways to Manifest Success:

  1. Feel it and believe it. One of the first things I do when I manifest successful moments in my life is I envision it and start to evoke a strong sense of belief. To me this is the first step to achieving anything in life. It’s also probably the most important. What we don’t realize is how strong our subconscious mind truly is. Once the subconscious mind accepts an idea, it begins to execute it. It does not question or judge it just reacts.
  2. Clear any mental road blocks. Because we live in a society where information is available at our finger tips, we’re more susceptible to looking at outside influences to dictate our mindset. In doing this, we slowly begin to have this mindset of not being enough for our goals or our dreams. These can create mental road blocks that can leave us in analysis paralysis. Clear any limiting beliefs that you might have that’s holding you back.
  3. Be Patient. As you become clearer in what you want to achieve you can start taking the steps towards your goals. But you need to remember to be patient, the best things in life take time.

So this is my challenge to you: take a moment today to list down one thing you are not looking for to doing and choose a target date. Make sure that this one thing relates to your target goal. Maybe this is setting a monthly budget for your household, maybe it’s the one area in your career you have to tackle in order to move up in your position, or maybe it's committing to a change in your lifestyle that will help you get back in shape or healthier, like running or trying a new group fitness class.

One of the things I love about Brooks is their dedication to helping you build your confidence in running whether your on the train or running towards your life’s greatest goals. If you’re an exercise junkie like me then you know how much moving your body can evoke a spirit of confidence and this mindset that you can do anything. I’ve always bene a long time fan of shopping for shoes on Zappos. I remember when I first discovered my love for online shopping how excited I would get to get my Zappos shipments in what felt like overnight because they were so fast at shipping the things I bought.  Their easy return policies made it so easy for me because when you’re busy trying to make the most of out of your life, both in the gym and out, you don’t have time to fuss with the overcomplicated.

I’m a mother of two beautiful daughters and married to a man who completes me. I started my fitness journey as a way to heal my soul and launched my blog in hopes to continue to inspire and empower women to use fitness as a tool to heal depression and find their self worth. I strongly believe that each woman deserves to be in love with herself just as much as her man does. I have an obsession with reusable water bottles, I enjoy action movies, and I’m in love with burpees.
