It was never my intention to compete. As a matter of fact, the first words I said to my coach when I first hired her was, I do not want to compete I just want to be in the best shape of my life. Before I became pregnant with our first daughter Airis, I was 115lbs. My body has carried two daughters and when I had started my fitness journey I was 132 lbs. I started by dedicating myself to a 12 week transformation program. This transformation program included a customized tailored meal plan designed for my needs along with a suggested workout regiment. In that first 12 weeks I lost 19 lbs. An amount that blew my mind since I've been trying for the last 10 years to lose the baby weight that remained after having kids.

In February 2014, I decided to push my fitness to the next level and train to compete in my first NPC show. I decided to compete to see how far I can push myself and to see if I can actually achieve this "athletic" body I've always dreamed of having. I've always dreamed of a toned stomach, cellulite free legs, and defined arms. I didn't have a person I wanted to look like, I just wanted to look like a better version of myself.

You cannot out train a bad diet. All this progress was not due to exercise alone. A proper nutrition and exercise program will get you the results you've always dreamed of.

Just remember to push through, keep on going, and work towards that better version of you.
