Oftentimes I’m running around from training at the gym straight to brunch, meetings, or running errands for the family. It’s not always easy living life on the go and juggling all the madness but someone’s gotta do it, and I’m typically doing it in the same pants I wear for working out. I’ve teamed up with NikeWomen to create 5 of my all-time favorite looks while wearing the brand-new Nike Zonal Strength Training Tights.
Do you believe in more? Long before I started my wellness journey, I believed in more and wanted more for myself as it related to my health and exercise. In my mind I had always envisioned this version of woman who was in love with fitness and was ultimately doing it for her family. But like any big dreams or goals, doubt and fear became a challenge to overcome. It definitely wasn’t easy, but I knew that in order to raise incredibly strong women, I had to hold on to the vision I had for myself. After all, believing in your ability to manifest your dreams is the greatest source of power we have.
Look #1: Training like its a lifestyle
Now that I’ve found ways to make fitness work for my busy, demanding life, I’ve had to get creative with my outfits. There are so many days where I’m rushing from my training session at the gym straight to Whole Foods or an errand before I start the rest of my day.
Look #2: Paired with your favorite sweater.
Normally I’m a sweatshirt girl. If I’m at home during these colder months, I’m curled up on the couch in a pair of workout tights and a sweatshirt. For a quick errand or coffee run, a chunky sweater and some white sneakers make this cozy look extra comfy while running around town.
Look #3: Make a statement with a tailored blouse
I love the simplicity of a tailored blouse and tights. When I’m heading out for brunch with girlfriends or if I have to go to a meeting where I need to be more presentable, I throw on a button-up shirt over my tights and some leather slip-on loafers. This bold statement blouse is one of my favorite finds this winter. The wraparound detail gives it a little bit of a ballerina-like feel, making it an effortless look with the Nike Zonal Strength Training Tights.
Look #4: Business caj…
The days of a blazer will never go out of style. Do you remember when we were rocking blazers with jeans and a fun band t-shirt? I dare you to try it with workout tights! When I worked at VSCO and had to meet with my exec team, this was typically my look when we were launching new ideas or brainstorming on how we were taking over the world. Pairing a blazer with NikeWomen Zonal Strength Training Tights was one of my life hacks to sneaking in a workout during my work day. I just open up my NTC Training app and jump right into a quick 20 minute workout like yoga, mobility, or a stretching exercise and I’m reenergized for the rest of my day.
Look #5: Not your typical tight
Date nights are rare and few and far between for my husband and me lately, but when we get the chance to go, I like to go all out and a little daring with my wardrobe and our evening. I’m a sneaker freak, but my husband prefers me in heels. Since marriage is all about compromise, it’s always a nice treat pulling out some heels for an evening with the hubs. Skirts and tights are not something I normally style myself in; it’s typically suited for my youngest daughter. This Nike Sportswear look paired with 4-inch black heels is stepping out of my comfort zone and into something more.
A balanced and healthy life for most of us means we’re constantly juggling multiple roles in life. Sometimes we’re juggling multiple dreams and passions in order for us to reinvent the life we’re creating.
Do you believe in living relentlessly?
Do you believe in training hard to become the healthiest version of you yet? In all the many ways we can choose to innovate ourselves, do it with style and do it with the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire.
